Summer Internship Opportunity

The Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church is accepting applications to a paid summer internship to support the Toronto Peace Academy and other summer 2026 activities.

Who can apply?

If you are interested in peace work and want to be a part of peace education in Toronto, then you have found the right place! We are currently accepting student applicants aged 15-30. Students with Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency will be given priority consideration.

What will I be doing?

The peace internship will support the Toronto Peace Academy launch the Foundations of Peace: Youth Day Camp and the Community Peace Summit. Duties will include outreach, recruitment, and community engagement, program development and facilitation, as well as administrative and operational support.

How will the internship be structured?

Interns will have a flexible work model, working remotely and in-person at the Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church located at 1038 Woodbine Ave. Toronto ON. M4C 4C4. The anticipated start date is Monday, 25 May, 2026. The internship will be for 10 weeks at 30 hours/week, with flexibility from week to week.
